Successful Presentation of Investing in Green Forum in Ljubljana

On July 2, 2010 Dr. Melita Gabrič, Consul General a.i. of Slovenia in New York, Vladimir Gasparič Director-General for Economic Diplomacy and Development Cooperation and representatives from the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce presented the Investing in Green forum to a number of important members of the Slovenian business community.  Dr. Gabrič emphasized the rapid rise of investment in green business in New York and the United States as a whole and noted the potential it offers to the growing number of environmentally innovative technologies and companies in Slovenia. Dr. Gabrič also drew attention to the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce’s enthusiasm for promoting green and sustainable business while Mr. Gasparič restated the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ dedication to economic diplomacy and aiding Slovenian companies in entering foreign markets. Governments commitment to supporting businesses in the international market will be also reiterated by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Borut Pahor, who will be addressing the forum in September. The presentation was well received.
